Visa is required to visit Belarus. I knew that from the beginning, but the process seemed to be unclear. Thus I will tell you how it works.In order to apply for visa, most probably Belarus tourist visa, you will need to submit general visa documents like valid passport, an application form and passport-size photo. I must say that these documents are common to all applications, but there are 2 more documents that are required. They are invitation letter made by tourist agency and travel voucher. These documents just serve to show that you have ordered some services from Belarus tourist agency. A pure formality, but not so easy to get. After a bit of struggling with google I found an agency that did all this paperwork. Moreover it appeared to be that I can apply for my visa directly at the airport after arrival. This was really convenient and I went for it.
Apparently there was no problem with visa and I got it without any problem at the Airport of Minsk.
